Exposure Risk Potential curated by Meredith Turnbull, is a response to project Light Material: Five Chilean Artists Travelling Light, composed by Catherine Bauer, Rodrigo Canala, Rodrigo Galecio, Gerardo Pulido and Tomás Rivas.
The Gallery Margaret Lawrence next to the curator Meredith Turnbull and the artists Susan Jacobs, Katie Lee and Bridie Lunney, has developed a project to deepen the dialogue and afiatar the link with the movement of local artistic.
In this opportunity, the australian artist to hold a new job in which it seeks to examine the parallels between the artistic work between Melbourne and Santiago.
Jacobs, Lee and Lunney develop an interest and a contribution to the artistic work of site-specific, and the relationship between context and material. In addition to proposing the risk and the potential as ideas, but also as ways of operating.
The project aims to establish a framework to explore relationships between concepts of identity, place and space. Risk Potential incorporate traces of physical movements and objects as cues to actions tacit next to drawings or performances. This installation-based jobs will be created in-situ materials and found objects in Santiago and specifically treated for the Gallery space Die Ecke.
