Cristóbal Lehyt en inauguración Sol Chileno, Galería Die Ecke Santiago, 2014.
The work of Cristóbal Lehyt consists of drawings, videos, paintings, sculptures and installations.
Some of their projects consist of several works about the north and its stories as constructions of national identity, drawings, wall murals, and “semi-tapestries” of figures in the united undefined and sculptures that are arranged in geometries in limbo transformed by the caliche.
The figures may also reflect projections into the other, inventing stories and relationships that reflect to the observer rather than the subject being represented, and the sculptures are presented as phenomena dumb with bitter and sweet tastes.
The works of Lehyt are activated in the confusion and misunderstanding, at the same time that their transient nature makes them permeable to the position of the viewer.

PROJECT
Projections Dramatic
Projections dramatic is titled the creative project in which we have seen develop a set of works, in which you deposit your imagination devoid of rational intent, which is activated by an attitude ensoñadora close to the blade half-way between reality and unreality, the place inhabited by the ghosts, who use their language and land on reality through painting, drawing and sculpture.
